An answer to a brief asking to change our perceptions of a material. Underfloor insullation was cut into a basic shape and then carved smooth. It was then upholstered with a safe to handle recycled plastic loft insulation, using cable ties to pinch the wool like insulation and hold the upholstry together. A material that is normally associated with gloves and masks has been used in a safe and highly contrasting application.
